BizEdMadeSimple grew out of Ecmtutors, a social enterprise founded by teacher Jack Dougall during the COVID-19 pandemic to connect students around the world through free peer to peer tutoring.

While running Ecmtutors and continuing to teach in the classroom, Jack began creating YouTube explanations to help his own Business students understand difficult concepts more clearly. As more students and teachers began using and sharing these explanations, the project started to evolve.

At the same time Jack became increasingly involved in artificial intelligence in education, writing and speaking internationally about how AI can support learning while maintaining academic integrity.

Over time the focus moved towards Business education and the project developed into BizEdMadeSimple, an online learning platform designed to support Business teaching in secondary schools and international programmes.

The platform includes structured video courses covering full syllabuses, alongside quizzes, certificates, AI supported learning tools and teacher resources. The philosophy is simple: break complex ideas into clear explanations and memorable stories that help students retain and apply key concepts.

BizEdMadeSimple currently provides full coverage of the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business syllabuses and is used by thousands of Business students around the world.

Teachers are encouraged to explore the platform and direct their classes to it now. Access is currently free for students and teachers who sign up while the platform is expanding.

BizEdMadeSimple was founded by Jack Dougall, teacher, writer and international speaker on AI in education who also provides mentoring for Business students and training for schools.
