James Barnes

James Barnes has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at BizEquity since September 2017, where roles have also included Vice President of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to this, James held the position of Software Developer at Susquehanna International Group, LLP for a brief period in 2017, and worked as a Software Engineer at eMoney Advisor from July 2016 to June 2017. Earlier experience includes roles at BizEquity as a Software Developer from March 2015 to June 2016 and at Best Buy as a member of GeekSquad from November 2009 to January 2015. James began a career in software development with a co-op position at McKesson Health Solutions in 2014. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2016, following earlier education at the College of Southern Maryland from 2011 to 2012.
