Bruce Metherd

Bruce Metherd has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Bruce began their career as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy from 1991 to 1994. After that, Bruce worked as a Sales Engineer and Consultant for ichat, an early-stage social media internet company. Bruce then joined Acuity (formerly ichat) in 1996 as a Sales Engineer, where they engaged directly with enterprise customers. In 1998, Bruce joined Motive as a Sales Engineer, responsible for technical engagement with enterprise customers such as Hewlett-Packard. During their 6-year tenure at Motive, they were directly responsible for managing their largest enterprise accounts and strategic partnerships.

Bruce's next role was with Planview starting in June 2015, where they served as a Sales Director. Planview acquired Troux, and their portfolio and resource management solutions allowed organizations to become more innovative and agile. In 2017, they joined Zenoss as a Senior Global Account Director, working with large organizations to ensure IT services and applications are always on. Finally, in 2019, Bruce joined BiZZdesign as the Regional Vice President of Sales.

Bruce Metherd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 1987 to 1991.
