The Bilingual Kids Academy (BKA) International School is a Basel, Switzerland based organization that is dedicated to providing the highest level of education and care to the kids in our school community.


Basel is a diverse city that serves as the headquarters for international companies, is a center of research and a city of culture. From Basel you can access all of the amenities of city living, while at the same time having access to incredible points of nature, as well as being able to quickly and easily access major cities throughout Europe from the nearby international airport.


Our academy has been designed to cater to the diverse families that live in this great city. We offer a stimulating educational environment in which children can develop and learn in a warm and caring bilingual (English and German) environment.

Mission
The Mission of the Bilingual Kids Academy International School is to challenge and motivate students in a bilingual context to become inquiring, caring, and active lifelong learners. We aim to develop understanding through differing perspectives, and the celebration of diversity, whilst discovering individual talents and passions to improve the world that we live in.

Philosophy
Every person is equal regardless of nationality, religion or cultural background. We offer a learning environment based on an international curriculum where children will have the opportunity to lay a foundation for academic growth and success. At the Bilingual Kids Academy International School, each child is accepted as a unique individual and nurtured in such a way that he or she can navigate this world both independently and with a sense of self confidence.

We are a bilingual day school for children ranging from 3 months to 12 years of age. Our bilingual learning environment provides a place in which children can learn and develop in both German and English. Our program carefully considers all aspects of a child’s development: emotional, social, physical, and cognitive.
