Black Basalt Foundation (BBF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the resilience, visibility, and protection of vulnerable and under-represented communities whose identity, diversity, and stability are at risk. As an apolitical 501(c)(3), the Foundation provides a transparent structure for program development, fundraising, and responsible grantmaking that supports humanitarian, cultural, and community-based initiatives.

The Foundation develops and supports programs that document cultural memory, elevate credible narratives, and foster public awareness through exhibitions, events, media projects, and community engagement initiatives. It also mobilizes philanthropic support through fundraising campaigns, partnerships, and donor networks to fund projects aligned with its mission.

Through grants, program partnerships, and direct initiatives, the Foundation supports locally led efforts that strengthen community stability, cultural preservation, and social resilience. By connecting global awareness with practical support on the ground, BBF works to channel resources, amplify trusted voices, and build long-term opportunities for communities facing instability and displacement.

• Medical Advisory Committee: An active medical committee chaired by renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Aboud, supporting health-related initiatives
