Abe Usher

Abe Usher has a long history of working in the technology industry. Abe began their career in 2007 as a Google Search Engineer. In 2008, they became an Engineer at SAIC. In 2009, they were promoted to Director at Sterling. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Chief Technology Officer at HumanGeo Group. In 2016, they became the Chief Technology Officer of DigitalGlobe|Radiant and the Chief Technology Officer of DigitalGlobe Intelligence Solutions. That same year, they also became the Chief Technology Officer of The Radiant Group. From 2017 to 2019, they were the VP of Emerging Technology at Radiant Solutions, where they were responsible for managing capabilities areas and associated research and development activities across an organization of 1100 technical staff. In 2020, they became a Strategic Advisor at Gigasheet. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Co-CEO of Black Cape.

Abe Usher has a diverse educational background. Abe completed a Bachelor of Science in German and Arabic from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1996. In 2003, they earned a Master of Science in Information Systems from George Mason University. Abe also has multiple certifications, including Certified Information System Security Professional from ISC^2 in 2003, Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2016, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials from Amazon Web Services in 2018, and several certifications from IBM, Coursera, Kaggle, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloudera, and Kaggle obtained in 2020 and 2021.
