James Won

James Won has three years of work experience. James began their career in 2019 as a Website Developer Intern at DoubleDoor, where they worked on both frontend and backend development using Vue, HTML, CSS, JSON, and MongoDB. In 2020, they joined Black Cape as a Technologist Intern, then moved into a Software Engineer role and later a Software Engineering Team Lead role. Also in 2020, they worked as a Research Student at The George Washington University, conducting research under Professor Youssef on pattern recognition of indirect math definitions in XML files, using SpaCy and Python to parse through the files and search for the definitions.

James Won attended The George Washington University from 2017 to 2021, studying Computer Science. In 2020, they also studied at University College Dublin. In September 2022, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster\u00ae (CSM\u00ae) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
