About Black Mark Media
Black Mark Media is a narrative-driven animation studio where storytelling is the heartbeat of every frame. We believe that animation is a medium, not a genre—and at the core of every project, there must be a compelling, human story.

Founded on the principle that technical craft should serve the narrative, we specialize in high-end, screenplay-led animation. Our process begins with the script, focusing on cinematic direction and emotional resonance before a single frame of animation is drawn.

What We Do
Original IP Development: We build immersive worlds and original stories from the ground up, with a focus on feature-length narrative and episodic content.

Narrative-First Animation: We produce author-driven short films designed for the international festival circuit, prioritizing artistic integrity and strong screenwriting.

Commercial Production: We bring our narrative expertise to commercial work, helping brands and agencies elevate their messaging through high-quality, cinematic 2D and 3D animation.

Creative Consulting: Leveraging 15+ years of industry experience, we offer screenplay development, storyboarding, and directing services for film and interactive media.

Our Philosophy
We believe that high-quality animation should never be purely decorative—it must complement the story, deepen the character, and elevate the directorial vision. Whether we are crafting an original IP or producing content for a client, our commitment remains the same: to create a cinematic experience that lingers with the audience long after the screen goes dark.

Let’s Create Together
Based in Chișinău and operating with a global outlook, we are always open to collaborations with fellow storytellers, studios, and brands looking for a narrative-first approach to animation.
