Climbing the world’s highest peaks is not just about reaching the summit. It is about resilience, decision-making under pressure, and leading in environments where mistakes have real consequences.

Black Mountaineering is an Irish expedition company led by Jason Black, one of fewer than 350 people in history to summit and survive K2, and recipient of Ireland’s National Outdoor Athlete of the Year.

We have successfully guided climbers on expeditions to:

• Mount Everest
• Aconcagua
• Kilimanjaro
• Himalayan 7000m and 8000m peaks

Our small-team expedition model is designed to deliver:

• higher safety margins
• stronger team cohesion
• deeper personal and leadership development

Our services include:

• Guided high-altitude expeditions worldwide
• Mountaineering and expedition training
• Corporate leadership and resilience programmes
• Keynote speaking and performance coaching

Whether you are preparing for your first high-altitude climb, pursuing the Seven Summits, or developing high-performance teams in demanding environments, we welcome you to connect and discuss your next challenge.
