The Black PhD Collective is a national network (UK) committed to tackling the poor retention of Black individuals in academia. We aim to create a supportive community that fosters mentorship, resource-building, and collaboration to address the systemic barriers faced by Black students.

Our mission is to provide the tools, connections, and opportunities needed to ensure long-term success and representation in higher education and beyond. Through workshops, networking events, socials and strategic partnerships, we empower individuals to thrive in their academic and professional journeys.
