Charles Maisel has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. charles is currently working as a Triple Bottom Line Consultant at Momint since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Innovation Consultant, business and social entrepreneur, educator in Innovation, business mentor, and a venture at Innovation Shack, starting from 2005. At Innovation Shack, Charles was involved in designing new projects for businesses and social initiatives, teaching innovation techniques through workshops and pitch sessions, and organizing social art projects. charles also worked as a Co-Producer at Baked Shakespeare since August 2021 and a Co-Founder at Medicinal Oils aka KEI since 2018. Additionally, Charles served as a Trustee for #saveourbeachhuts starting from November 2020 and as the Founder of The False Bay Hospital Trust since June 2016. In 2012, they established the Seeing the Leaves Institute to teach innovation and creativity. Charles also founded Bebold, the largest university student-based entrepreneurship network in Southern Africa, in 2005, and Shanduka Black Umbrellas in 2008.

Charles Maisel attended Rhodes University from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Development Economics and International Development.
