Alex Smith

Alex Smith possesses extensive experience in project coordination and management within the construction and engineering sectors. Alex began involvement with Olsson Industrial Electric, Inc. as a Project Assistant, contributing to a multi-million dollar project for the McNary Dam Powerhouse, which involved tasks such as submittal package compilation, correspondence management, and use of AutoCAD and Primavera P6 software. Following this, Alex held roles as a Project Coordinator at Schuff Steel and Greenberry Industrial, focusing on field erection issues, RFI generation, submittal management, and project cost tracking. Currently serving as a Project Controls Analyst at Black & Veatch, Alex is responsible for monitoring project budgets and progress. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Washington, an Associate’s Degree, and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Construction Management from Louisiana State University.
