David Meier

David Meier has extensive experience in procurement management, currently serving as Sr. Project Procurement Manager at Black & Veatch since December 1993, overseeing procurement activities for the Data Centers Business line. Responsibilities include procurement planning, bid preparation, contract negotiations, and monitoring procurement activities. Previously, David held the position of Project Procurement Manager in South Africa, focusing on a major coal project, where responsibilities included contract management and team leadership. Prior to Black & Veatch, David worked as a Purchasing Agent and Field Office Manager at The Bishop Corporation, managing material purchases for natural gas pipeline construction projects. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wichita State University and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Hutchinson Community College.
