David Nelson, GISP, is currently a GIS Manager at Black & Veatch, where they develop and maintain GIS databases, projects, and proposals for the Telecommunications Division. Previously, David served as a GIS Specialist 3 at Black & Veatch, assisting in the implementation of GIS projects and preparing training materials. David also held the position of GIS Coordinator at Platte County Government from 2004 to 2006, where they managed GIS operations, created storm water analysis maps, and improved emergency 9-1-1 addressing.
