Civil Engineer

Dillon Copa, P.E. is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in engineering, project management, and public safety. Dillon began a career in the field as a GIS Intern with the City of Pompano Beach, where responsibilities included identifying and correcting GIS data discrepancies. Dillon then served as an Ocean Rescue Lifeguard for the City of Boca Raton, focusing on ocean rescue operations and public safety. Following this role, Dillon worked as a Civil Engineer in Training at Kimley-Horn for over three years, gaining valuable experience in water resources and utilities engineering by assisting with various utility projects across southeast Florida. Dillon further advanced as a Utilities Engineer for the California Public Utilities Commission before taking the position as a Civil Engineer at Black & Veatch in August 2022. Dillon holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
