Lead Electrical Engineer at Black & Veatch

Ethan Bogner, P.E. is a highly experienced electrical engineer currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer for the Water Business Line at Black & Veatch since August 2020. Previously, Ethan worked at Burns & McDonnell from June 2012 to July 2020 as a Staff Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities included designing custom electrical systems for various nationwide clients and managing contract documents and project personnel. Ethan also gained experience as a Field Engineer during the Re-Powering Queen Elizabeth Power Station project, focusing on the design of electrical schematics and models. Earlier in the career, Ethan interned at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, conducting studies on emergency diesel generators and performing cable tray calculations. Ethan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kansas State University in 2012.
