James R.

James (Dave) R. has a robust background in engineering and operations, with significant experience in the field of nuclear power and water treatment facilities. Currently, James serves as a Field Commissioning Manager at Black & Veatch since April 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing construction management for projects like the Phosphorus Recovery Facility at Stickney Water Treatment Plant. Prior roles at Black & Veatch included Commissioning Engineer and Operations Engineer. Before this, James served in the US Navy, first as a Nuclear Electrician’s Mate on the USS Abraham Lincoln and later on the USS Carl Vinson, alongside a position as Lead Electrical Planner at SWRMC Naval Shipyard. James's technical foundation was established at Nuclear Power School under the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command from 2005 to 2006.
