Jim Chen, P.E., is currently a Senior Technical Lead Substation at ENTRUST Solutions Group, where they manage engineering responsibilities for various projects. Previously, Jim held roles as a Lead Substation Engineer at Qualus Power Services and Substation Lead Engineer at Pickett and Associates, Inc. Their experience also includes serving as a Senior Project Engineer and Supervising Engineer at Dashiell Corporation, as well as working as an Electrical Engineer at Siemens, focusing on primary and physical electrical design. Jim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2008.
