Nathan Mentzer

Nathan Mentzer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and agriculture. Since January 2016, Nathan has served as the Owner/Operator and Agriculture Specialist at Mentzer Farms. Concurrently, Nathan has held various roles at Black & Veatch since January 2007, currently working as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Power Generation Services. Previous positions at Black & Veatch included Mechanical Field Engineer at Plum Point Energy Station, contributing to a 665 MW Pulverized Coal Fired project, and Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for systems design and procurement. Nathan began the career journey with internship experiences, including a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Black & Veatch and a Research Assistant role at the Institute for Environmental Research. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, completed in 2006.
