Peter Clive

Principal Wind Energy Consultant

Peter Clive is a seasoned professional in the field of wind energy and technology, currently working as a Principal Wind Energy Consultant at Black & Veatch since May 2019 and serving as a project team member and leader for various standards at the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) since November 2017. Clive has contributed to the development of multiple IEC standards, including guidance for probabilistic wind turbine design and specifications for floating lidar. Previous roles include advisory board membership for IEA Wind TCP, visiting professorship at Leeds Beckett University, and senior scientific positions at Wood Group and IEC.
