Rizwan Hamid

Rizwan Hamid, PE, is a professional engineer with extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering, specializing in wastewater systems and hydraulic modeling. Currently serving as the Collection Systems Modeling and Planning Leader at Black & Veatch since July 2022, Rizwan also holds the position of Founding Executive Director at Everything H2O, a nonprofit, since February 2021. Previous roles include Vice President at Murraysmith, where Rizwan led the planning group, and Founder & President of Aqualyze, Inc., focusing on business development and project management. Prior experience includes project management and technical leadership at Black & Veatch and project engineering at PBS&J, with a strong foundation in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling. Rizwan holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University.
