Ryan Matzen

Ryan Matzen is an experienced engineering manager with a focus on water and wastewater treatment projects at Black & Veatch since January 2002. Previously, Ryan worked as a project applications engineer and process engineer at Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc., where responsibilities included managing wastewater projects, collaborating with various stakeholders, and enhancing company productivity through design and technical support. Ryan began a career in engineering as a field technician at STS Consultants, overseeing construction projects and conducting material evaluations. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Leadership from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, along with a brief educational stint at Université libre de Bruxelles.
