Ryan Townsend

Ryan Townsend is a licensed Architect with 24 years of experience in diverse projects, including university campuses, public buildings, and mixed-use developments. Currently serving as the Director of Architecture for Commercial Projects & Emerging Markets at Black & Veatch since 2019, Ryan previously held architect roles at Gastinger Walker Harden, 360 Architecture, Crawford Architects, and Populous. Additionally, Ryan contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2009 to 2016, teaching various architecture courses. Known for a focus on user-centered design, Ryan is dedicated to fostering community through meaningful architectural experiences.
