Zeynep E. currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for The Water Research Foundation and as a board member for WateReuse California since September 2021. As Vice President and Integrated Solutions and Capabilities Director at Black & Veatch since June 2019, Zeynep E. focuses on developing and implementing innovative solutions addressing environmental, technical, funding, and regulatory challenges, while driving development for system resilience and long-term project lifecycles. Prior experience includes roles as Water Business Integrated Solutions Leader at Black & Veatch and as Vice President and Water Business Line Leader at AECOM, where responsibilities involved overseeing growth and operations for various water-related initiatives. Zeynep E. also held significant positions at CH2M HILL, leading advanced water treatment projects and sustainability efforts. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
