Steve M. is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in architectural leadership and team management. Currently serving as Chief Architect at Blackbaud since April 2014, Steve is pivotal in guiding the company’s architecture direction and in modernizing applications alongside a transition to cloud-based microservices. Previously, at BancVue, Steve held various leadership roles, including Executive Vice President of Technology (interim) and Director of Architecture, where responsibilities encompassed technology architecture and team management. Earlier in career at Dun & Bradstreet / Hoovers Inc., Steve advanced from Senior Software Engineer to Lead Architect, overseeing significant technology integration and architecture for a substantial product portfolio. Steve holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2003.
