Chief Information Officer at Blackberry

Jesse Harold is the current Chief Information Officer at BlackBerry. Prior to this, they held various positions at BlackBerry over the span of eleven years, including Senior Director, IT Service Delivery & Business Application Solutions, Senior Director, Core Networking, and Director, Core Networking. Harold began their career in 2006 as a Network Analyst at Lafarge before joining BlackBerry in 2008 as a Data Network Specialist in the Core Network Engineering department. In 2010, they were promoted to Team Lead of Global Corporate Network Design Engineering and then Manager of Network Design & Capacity Planning in 2013. In 2017, Harold was promoted to Director of Data Network Operations and then to Senior Director of Core Networking in 2019.

Jesse Harold completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Jesse also holds an Advanced Diploma from Sheridan College. In addition, they are certified by ISACA in Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Jesse Harold reports to John Chen, Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Nita White-Ivy - EVP Human Resources, John Wall - Senior Vice President and Co-Head BlackBerry Technology Solutions - Products, Engineering and Operations, and Neelam Sandhu - Vice President of Business Operations and Strategic Accounts, Office of the CEO.
