Tim Dattels

Tim Dattels is an experienced business leader and board member, currently serving on the Board of Directors for BlackBerry and as a Board Member for Century Initiative since January 2013, focusing on a vision for Canada in 2100 centered on diversity and prosperity. From January 2004 to July 2022, Tim Dattels was the Chairman of TPG, where leadership in investment strategy across Asia greatly contributed to the firm’s growth, including a notable partnership with Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional that yielded a 7x return. Tim Dattels holds a Master’s Degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Western.
