Stuart Bisset

Stuart Bisset has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Stuart started their career as a CA Trainee at Primrose McCabe & Co, where they gained experience in audit, accounts preparation, tax, and financial modeling. Stuart then joined Andersen, where they served as both a Business Modeling Consultant, working on high-profile projects and model development, and as an Assurance & Business Advisory Division Accountant, performing audit and due diligence. Stuart later worked as an Assistant Director in Corporate Finance at Johnston Carmichael, where they focused on financial modeling for energy, infrastructure, and sustainability projects, and trained and coached the corporate finance team. Stuart then founded Insight Financial Modeling, a successful business that provided high-quality financial modeling services. Stuart also served as an MIS Manager at Miller Developments before returning to Johnston Carmichael as Director of Corporate Finance. Most recently, they worked as a Group Finance & IT Director at Peacocks Medical Group and as a Consultant specializing in data/automation at The Greenspan Agency. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance (Interim) at Blackford Analysis. Throughout their career, Stuart has demonstrated strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and expertise in financial modeling.

Stuart Bisset pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their attendance at Carnoustie High School from 1984 to 1990. There is no mention of a specific degree or field of study during this time. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Abertay, where they studied Accounting and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree between 1991 and 1994. Following their undergraduate studies, Stuart joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland from 1995 to 1998 and attained the designation of Chartered Accountant (CA).
