Mathieu Maupeu

Mathieu Maupeu currently serves as the Privacy Program Director and Data Protection Officer for EMEA at Blackhawk Network, a role that has included responsibilities as the Global Privacy Lead and Acting Chief Privacy Officer. Prior to this position, Mathieu was the Data Protection Officer at Culture Trip, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with GDPR, advocating for privacy-by-design principles, and managing incident responses. Previous experience includes serving as the Data Privacy Officer at Eurostar, where oversight of compliance and data protection initiatives were key, along with roles in data governance and customer data analytics. Mathieu began a career in market research with positions at Research Now and C.S.A. Mathieu holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics and Software Engineering from Polytech Lille.
