Michael Scott

Michael Scott serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Blackhawk Network since April 2009, leading several engineering teams focused on acquiring, first-party issuance and processing, cardholder services, and original content. Michael has extensive experience in transaction processing platforms, overseeing a proprietary java-based payment card processing system and managing integration with major digital API partners like Google and PayPal. Prior roles at Blackhawk included Senior Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Senior Manager of Engineering, and Manager of Engineering, contributing to various projects such as the General Purpose Reloadable (GPR) Platform. Prior to Blackhawk, Michael worked at Neopost from April 1999 to January 2009, where responsibilities included managing the company’s migration to eCommerce systems and developing a field service technician application.
