Ashwin Date

Ashwin Date has extensive experience in thermal engineering, with a background that includes positions at leading companies and academic institutions. They began their career as a trainee engineer at Neilsoft, progressing to Senior Engineer, where they led a team and managed project responsibilities. Ashwin then served as a Research Engineer at Fujikura Ltd. in Tokyo, where they developed a freeze resistant heat pipe for automotive and aviation applications. Currently, they are the Lead Thermal Engineer at Blackmagic Design while also holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from RMIT University, where they contributed as a Teaching and Research Assistant.
