Dean Camera

Dean Camera is a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Blackmagic Design since July 2015, specializing in embedded and desktop software development, particularly for the HyperDeck series and ATEM Switchers. Prior experience includes firmware engineering at LIFX, where contributions were made to next-generation WiFi and 802.15 products, and as an Applications Engineer at Atmel Corporation, focusing on demonstration firmware and customer support. Dean began a career in firmware development during an internship at Atmel Norway, creating a USB to SPI/I2C/USART bridge and gained teaching experience as a lab demonstrator at La Trobe University. Dean holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering from La Trobe University.
