Murat Yucel

Murat Yucel is an experienced musician, owner, and director known for organizing and managing various music-related ventures. From March 1997 to October 2004, Yucel owned Blues Bar in Dalyan, Turkey, where responsibilities included organizing jam sessions and overall business management. Yucel also owned Barbukka from January 2002 to August 2004, overseeing entertainment and accounting. As a musician with UNIFIED GECKO from February 2002 to March 2013, Yucel contributed to a unique fusion of Middle Eastern and reggae music. Currently, Yucel serves as the director of Musiktrafik Pty Ltd, focusing on organizing tours and producing albums, while also holding a position as a translator at Blackmagic Design since July 2017. Yucel directed the Karavan International Gypsy Music Festival from August 2009 to April 2012 and was a member of the band BARO BANDA from July 2006 to September 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from RMIT University and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Linguistics and Literature from Ege Üniversitesi.
