Patrick Lewien

Patrick Lewien is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently at Blackmagic Design since May 2021. Prior experience includes roles as an Electrical and Software Systems Engineer at SEA Electric, where Patrick developed embedded firmware compliant with ISO26262-6 standards and integrated CI/CD workflows using the Atlassian toolchain. As an Electric Powertrain Engineer for the University of Melbourne's Formula SAE Team, Patrick contributed to significant performance improvements by compacting the electric drivetrain. Previous positions also include tutoring System Modelling and Analysis at the University of Melbourne, an automation software intern at Deloitte Australia, and an assistant mechanical engineer at Branach, among other roles. Patrick holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronic Systems from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Diploma in Mathematical Sciences.
