Ben Severson

Ben Severson is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in financial services and data analytics. Currently serving as Managing Director -- SRA CTO at BlackRock, Ben previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at SpiderRock Advisors and Chief Technology Officer at Bengal Capital Trading. Additionally, Ben has experience as Head of Data and Analytics at National Flood Services and as a Technology Consultant. Ben began a career as a quantitative analyst at Peak6 and brings a strong academic background with a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
