Denes Molnar

Model Developer, Vice President

Denes Molnar is a physicist and programmer with a strong background in quantitative finance. They held the position of RIKEN Fellow at the RIKEN BNL Research Center from 2005 to 2010 and subsequently served as an Associate Professor at Purdue University from 2011 to 2021, where they solved complex problems in subatomic physics and advised multiple PhD students. Denes is currently a Vice President and Model Developer at BlackRock, having previously worked at Morgan Stanley as a Quantitative Model Developer. They earned a PhD in Physics from Columbia University in 2002.
