Derek Stein

Derek Stein is the Head of Business Operations and Technology at BlackRock, where Derek oversees global business operations. Prior to their current role, Derek held the position of CIO at BGI. Before joining BlackRock, Derek served as EVP - CAO/CTO at Knight Capital Group and held various roles at Merrill Lynch. Derek holds a Post Graduate degree in Finance and a B.Comm in Finance/Computer Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.
