Derek Stein

Derek Stein is the Global Head of Business Operations & Technology at BlackRock. Derek has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Derek previously served as the First Vice President/Senior Director at Merrill Lynch from January 1992 to December 2001.

Derek Stein attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where they earned a B.Comm in Finance/Computer Science. Derek then went on to earn a Post Graduate degree in Finance from the same school.
