George Wright has a solid educational background with a MEng and BSc in Computer Science from the University of Leeds, where George graduated with Class 1 Honours. George began his professional career as a Summer Technology Intern at Liquidnet in July 2020, followed by a brief tenure as a Summer Analyst at BlackRock in June 2021. Subsequently, George took on a Software Engineering Analyst role at BlackRock from August 2022 to February 2025 and advanced to the position of Associate Software Engineer. Earlier education includes A Levels and GCSEs obtained at Watford Grammar School for Boys from 2012 to 2018.
