Hersi Shima, CFA, is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Liqvid, a role they began in 2024. Previously, they held various positions at BlackRock from 2015 to 2017, culminating as Vice President of Global Fixed Income. Hersi began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard in 2014. They earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Finance and Economics from York University and later obtained an Honors Business Administration degree in Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University.
