Jay Gadi is currently the Vice President at BlackRock, bringing an innovative and agile mindset to their engineering management role. With a specialization in mobile and full-stack development as well as a robust background in DevOps, Jay has effectively built and sustained empowered teams throughout their career. They previously held key positions at SoapBox, where they established a mental health and wellness committee, earning the organization the ‘Health and Wellness’ award by Elevate in 2019. Jay also gained valuable experience as a Technical Analyst at William Osler Health System and as an Android Engineer at Akira MD, and they hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Carleton University.
