Jeff Smith, CFA, is currently the Director of Institutional Business Development at BlackRock, focusing on US Defined Contribution. They have a robust background in institutional services, having served as Director at Legg Mason Institutional Services from 2004 to 2013 and as Head of Consultant Relations & Portfolio Specialist at Royce Investment Partners between 2013 and 2021. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Relationship Officer at Citigroup Private Bank and as Sales Director at Montrose Food & Wine. Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Colgate University and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
