Jerry Weiss

Jerry Weiss is an Independent Board Member at BlackRock and a former Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Freddie Mac, where they managed regulatory affairs, corporate strategy, and communication efforts over a 22-year tenure. Weiss also served as Freddie Mac's interim General Counsel and led significant initiatives, including the Enterprise Transformation Group, enhancing organizational effectiveness. With over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Weiss previously held leadership positions at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and specialized in securities regulation, investment management, and corporate finance in a Washington, D.C. law practice. They graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in political science from the State University of New York at Binghamton and earned a law degree from The George Washington University.
