John Martinez

John Martinez is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in governance and strategic oversight. Serving as a Director/Trustee at iShares since 2003, John has contributed to the management of the largest family of exchange-traded funds globally. Additionally, John holds a director position at Unison Home Ownership Investors since 2005, focusing on creating equity optimization products for homeowners. Previous roles include serving on the Board of the Cloudera Foundation and as a Board Member for Reading Partners and Larkin Street Youth Services, where John was involved in promoting literacy and support for homeless youth, respectively. Before these positions, John was a Managing Director at Barclays Global Investors from 1990 to 2003, providing governance oversight for the firm's global activities.
