Jonathan Morel, CFA, serves as the Head of Euro LDI Portfolio Management within the Global Fixed Income Division at BlackRock, a position held since September 2011. Morel oversees discretionary relative value and macro sub-strategies for Liability Driven Investment (LDI) and Global Bonds funds, primarily focusing on rates and inflation in EUR and GBP. Prior roles at BlackRock include Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager for Outsourced CIO strategies. Before joining BlackRock, Morel worked at Dexia Credit Local, where responsibilities included managing a legacy credit portfolio and negotiating private placements. Morel holds a Master’s degree in Management with a specialization in Finance from NEOMA Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.
