Kate Tan is the Director of LifePath Research at BlackRock, a position held since 2022. Previously, Kate worked as a Liability Driven Investing Product Strategist, SVP at PIMCO from 2012 to 2022, and as a Pension Consulting Actuary at Towers Watson from 2003 to 2010. Kate began their career as an Asset Liability Management Intern at Manulife Financial in 2002. Currently, Kate is pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics at Stanford University and completing a Bachelor of Mathematics in Honors Actuarial Science with a minor in Statistics at the University of Waterloo.
