Laszlo Tisler

Vice President, Quantitative Portfolio Research

Laszlo Tisler is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative portfolio research and risk management. Currently serving as Vice President of Quantitative Portfolio Research at BlackRock since August 2018, Laszlo focuses on portfolio construction, asset allocation research, and the development of Python-based optimization tools. Prior to this role, Laszlo worked at Morgan Stanley from June 2015 to August 2018 as an Equity Market Risk Manager, where responsibilities included market risk coverage for the European equity trading desk and daily portfolio monitoring. Earlier experience at Morgan Stanley as an intern involved analysis of credit risk methodologies and development of monitoring tools for liquidity coverage ratios. Laszlo holds a Master's degree in Economics from Central European University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest.
