Lu Cheng, CFA, CPA, is currently a Director and Portfolio Manager at BlackRock. They previously held various roles at BlackRock, including Vice President and Associate Portfolio Manager, from 2020 to 2024. Before joining BlackRock, Lu worked as an Assistant Vice President in Client Operations at State Street from 2011 to 2015 and as a Financial Aid Advisor at Heald College from 2009 to 2011. They began their career as a Financial Aid Assistant II at UC Davis from 2006 to 2009. Lu earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of California, Davis, and participated in a Japanese Studies program at Kyoto Seika University in Spring 2009.
