Marcus Severin

Marcus Severin is currently the Head of Business Development for Financial Institutions in EMEA at BlackRock, a position held since 2023. Previously, they led various roles at BlackRock, including Head of Financial Institutions Northern Europe and Head of Insurance Asset Management for Germany and Austria. Marcus has extensive experience in client relationships, having served as a Client Relationship Manager at Allianz Global Investors and in institutional sales as a Director at UBS Global Asset Management. They also held the position of Senior Client Relationship Manager at Union Investment Institutional GmbH from 2002 to 2007. Marcus earned a Diplom Betriebswirt from the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt am Main between 1995 and 1999.
