Mark Wilson is a board member at BlackRock. Mark has previously served as the director at Resources on Demand and as vice president at JPMorgan Chase.

Wilson began their career in 1999 at JPMorgan Chase. Mark quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a portfolio manager and eventually head of the London Investment desk. In this role, they were responsible for investing securities lending cash collateral and managing portfolios across a range of products and currencies.

In 2008, Wilson left JPMorgan Chase to become the director at Resources on Demand. In this role, they capitalized on existing banking and IT relationships to deliver a superior service to customers. Mark also led the marketing and relationship building efforts with clients, successfully onboarding a large number of institutions.

Wilson has been a board member at BlackRock since 2019. In this role, they provide strategic direction and oversight for the firm.

Mark Wilson completed a BA in Commerce at Robert Gordon University, followed by an HND in Business Studies at North East Scotland College. Mark then went on to study at Daniel Stewarts and Melville College before completing their studies at North East Scotland College.
