Michael Eberhardt

Michael Eberhardt is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit analysis and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Managing Director at BlackRock since October 2017, Michael focuses on European banks and investment-grade corporates, and has developed a proprietary ESG scoring approach. Prior to BlackRock, Michael worked at Moody's Investor Service for a decade, holding the title of Director and serving as VP - Senior Credit Officer for EMEA banking, where Michael led credit analysis for major financial institutions and authored a new rating methodology for Clearing Houses. Additional roles include experience at Credit Suisse, PIMCO, and a consultancy role at Arthur Andersen. Michael holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
